Caroline Wilson

Solicitor

Caroline joined Brett Holt in 2013 and qualified as a Solicitor in early 2016. Prior to embarking on her training contract, she obtained an LLB Law Degree from Kingston Hill University and completed her Legal Practitioners Course at the College of Law in Guildford.

Caroline is trained in all aspects of Property Law but specialises in Landlord and Tenant matters. She has an extensive experience in all areas of Landlord and Tenant Law, including; setting-up freehold management companies, drafting participation agreements, statutory notices, tribunal applications, lease extensions, new leases, deeds of variation, small claims applications, enforcement applications and issuing proceeding.

Caroline has acted for both landlord and tenants on numerous lease extensions and collective freehold acquisitions. She has experience in acting for small and large numbers of lessees in collective enfranchisement process and right of first refusal transactions. She regularly advises landlord’s on the requirements of letting properties on assured shorthold tenancies and assists in the eviction of tenants and applications for the recovery of rent arrears.

Caroline has a friendly manner making her very approachable to clients who are encouraged to contact her if they have any queries or concerns. She ensures all her clients are kept well informed on the progress and important aspects of their transaction throughout.  Caroline prides herself on providing high quality, professional, tailored advice and services. Her keen eye for detail and organisational skills are especially effective when dealing with complexities that acting for large numbers of lessees in collective freehold acquisitions brings and ensuring that strict statutory deadlines are met in all areas of her field.

Out of work, Caroline enjoys holidays, getting plenty of exercise, spending time with her family and socialising with friends.
